Education in Germany

Education in Germany is generally considered to be of high quality and is highly valued by German society. The German education system is divided into different levels and types of education, each with its own specific requirements and goals.

Early Childhood Education.

Primary Education.

Hauptschule:

 This type of school offers a basic level of education and prepares students for vocational training.

Gymnasium: 

This is the highest level of secondary education in Germany and prepares students for higher education. Students attend Gymnasium for 8-9 years and take a final exam called the Abitur, which is required for admission to university.

Vocational Education and Training (VET): 

Vocational education and training is an alternative to Gymnasium and prepares students for specific careers. VET can be done at vocational schools or as part of an apprenticeship.

Higher Education:

 There are over 400 higher education institutions in Germany, including universities, technical universities, and colleges of art and music. Admission to higher education in Germany is competitive, and applicants are required to have a good Abitur grade or an equivalent qualification.

Overall, the German education system is known for its emphasis on academic rigor, practical training, and equal opportunities for all students.

Exercise for School Children.

There are many exercise opportunities for school children that can help them stay physically active and healthy. Here are some ideas:

School Sports:
